Zoom Announces its New ‘Focus’ Mode

This week Zoom announced its new feature for its popular video conferencing app. The app introduced a new ‘Focus’ feature for students to concentrate better during online lectures. The firm announced the feature earlier today via a blog post.

Once the host enables the focus mode it will gain access to the student’s webcam, which will not allow students to see each other during class. According to Zoom, the feature will be enabled for groups, accounts, and for individual users.

This feature will be most beneficial for the teachers. Focus mode allows educators to see students’ videos, and students to see their teacher without seeing other classmates. Supervision will be better with this feature.
