Zoom’s well-known web interface appears to be used by Tesla to implement this new feature. This means that Zoom will operate similarly to how Netflix and Youtube currently operate in cars, where they are both run in chromeless browsers and on top of which Tesla essentially builds.

The Zoom app is anticipated to be integrated into Tesla Theater when it is released. It is anticipated to perform similarly to Tesla Theater, requiring Premium Connectivity and only being accessible while the vehicle is parked.
