Nuneaton’s Train Services Revealed in Midland’s Blueprint Uncovered Vast Plans

Under the revised West Midlands Rail Investments Strategy draft, The Trent Valley Station is inlined for a major boost. Nuneaton train services revealed Midland’s blueprint with huge plans for Nuneaton’s improvement.

The train service between Nuneaton to Birmingham is identified as “Key Immediate” with electrification priority followed by the Nuckle Line, it lies between Nuneaton to Coventry and Leamington, it also covers the line between Nuneaton and Leicester.

The Council Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough and councilor, Kris Wilson states, “Having this recognition of Nuneaton as a strategic area for rail infrastructure improvement is good news for our borough.” Furthermore, he adds, “Council will be responding to the consultation favorably.”

The draft states these three areas have great potential for growth and the Water Orton corridor has the highest growth expectancy.

From 2026-2032, the new Coventry to Leicester to Nottingham services, it visioned as a “Once in a Generation Opportunity” to connect the great cities in a better way.
