The iPhone 13 will now have an ability to use the satellite communication, Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo says. He further thanks to the customised baseband chip.
In a note seen by AppleInsider Ming-Chi Kuo says that in the ‘iPhone 13’, Apple is predicted to use Qualcomm X60 baseband chip that will support low-earth orbit satellite communications. The note was written to the investors.
Kuo writes, “There are many potential scenarios for Apple’s business model cooperation with Globalstar.”
“The simplest scenario is that if the user’s operator has already teamed with Globalstar, the user can directly use Globalstar’s satellite communication service on the iPhone 13 through the operator’s service,” he added.
