The former Turkish Airlines Chairman- Ilker Ayci is being appointed as the new CEO of Indian airline- Air India effective from 1st April this year. Ilker was the active chairman of Turkish Airlines since 2015 and had announced his resignation on the 27th of January this year. Before working as the chairman of Turkish Airlines, Ilker Ayci had also worked as an advisor to the Mayor of Istanbul and has developed several projects in the city. Ilker’s tenure at Turkish Airlines has also earned him good recognition.

‘Air India’ was a government-owned airline that was acquired by the Tata Group recently.
