The US-based telecom giant AT&T Corporation has opened a development center in Chennai. This is the company’s second such center in India.
The new facility is located at RMZ Millenia on the IT corridor. It was inaugurated on Monday by T. Mano Thangaraj, the IT minister of Tamil Nadu state. The new office has a capacity of 300 people. AT&T will be housing its strategic platforms team along with product engineering and operations staff.
AT&T’s Chief Digital Officer, Bala Subramanian, stated that “We are excited about offering an environment where teams can work on features that have a direct impact on AT&T’s customers and employees.”
